DESCRIPTION:This two-hour virtual training will provide the foundational de-escalation skills for providing care\, welfare\, safety\, and security of everyone involved in a crisis. Participants will learn the skills to safely respond to various levels of risk behavior while balancing responsibilities of care. For those individuals seeking CPI certification or re-certification\, this session will provide the foundational training hours that will be followed up with 5.5 hours of site-based physical safety and holding support skills on October 19th.
