DESCRIPTION:Are you looking to enhance your toolkit of proactive and responsive de-escalation strategies? In this training\, participants will learn practical strategies necessary to ensure a safe learning environment where the social\, emotional\, and behavioral well-being of all students and staff is maintained. Participants will examine strategies for building and maintaining positive relationships; understand the different stages in the Escalation/Crisis Cycle; identify where students are on the escalation continuum and how to respond; and learn effective communication strategies and scripts to minimize interfering behaviors. \nWho Should Attend: All educators (i.e.\, classroom teachers\, paraeducators\, etc.) who are interested in building their toolkit of proactive classroom strategies and effective de-escalation strategies. \nTime: 8:30 – 3:30 (8:00 – 8:30 check-in) \n\n\nRegister Here
