DESCRIPTION:Description: \nAre you looking to enhance your toolkit of proactive and responsive de-escalation strategies? Participants will learn practical strategies necessary to ensure a safe learning environment where the social\, emotional\, and behavioral well-being of all students and staff is maintained. Participants will examine strategies for building and maintaining positive and trusting relationships; understand the different stages of the Escalation/Crisis Cycle; identify where students are on the escalation continuum and how to respond; and learn effective communication strategies and scripts to minimize interfering behaviors. \nWho Should Attend: \nAll educators (i.e.\, classroom teachers\, paraeducators\, special educators\, etc.) who are interested in building their toolkit of proactive and effective de-escalation strategies that build on trust. \nDate and Time: \nFriday\, November 7\, 2025\, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (check-in\, 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM) \n\n\nRegister Here
