SUMMARY:Analyzing Social/Emotional/Behavioral Data
DESCRIPTION:This training will provide school leadership teams the opportunity to review existing school-wide and student social\, emotional\, and behavioral data so they can identify action steps for immediate and long-term change. For participants from schools implementing PBIS\, the status of their school’s PBIS implementation will be reviewed. Teams will learn about and use the Team-Initiated Problem Solving (TIPS) protocol\, an evidenced based meeting process for analyzing data for decision-making that can be used across domains. Following this training\, participants will be poised to initiate steps for immediate change and have a user-friendly protocol for facilitating and analyzing data back at their schools. \nWho Should Attend: Leadership Teams including school administrators. \n\n\nRegister Here

SUMMARY:Intro to Restorative Approaches within MTSS
DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED!\nFor over a decade\, Vermont schools have been building a multi-tiered system of supports framework for social and academic achievement. The interest around the use of restorative approaches nationally and in Vermont schools continues to grow. A restorative approach involves principle-based processes and practices that can be applied to help things go right as well as respond when things go wrong. This whole-school approach links well within the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework. This workshop will serve as an introduction to aligning PBIS with Restorative Practices. Participants will recall their current understanding of key elements of restorative approaches and PBIS; deepen their understanding of restorative practices at all three tiers with a focus on application at the universal level; learn when and when not to use restorative practices; and learn how to apply a restorative approach to their existing PBIS framework. \nWho Should Attend: All School and SU/SD VTPBIS Coordinators. Building administrators are also welcomed to join this session. \n\n\nRegister Here
